For every sixteen-year-old in Britain, their school prom is the biggest social event in life. The prom season normally starts during summer. Due to the high demand for prom limos, they are rarely given on discount. Hence, parents who want to hire them should make sure that they get good value for money. Best solution would be to fill up the limo with as many people as possible and split up the hire in as many ways. Prom limos that are eight seaters normally cost £400 for an evening. So if you can find eight people, the cost would be split to £50 each, which is much better than four people paying £100.
You might think that you can cut down the cost of the limo hire by hiring it one way to the school. You can, but you are still liable to pay all the set up cost like cleaning, preparation, minimum chauffeur charges and, last but not the least, the cost of running such an expensive car. If you still want or need only a one way hire, you can manage to get some additional value by requesting for an extra half an hour cruise around the city before you reach the school. This can be made fun if the kids bring their own music mixes, spot people out of the limo or interact with other prom limos, making a cruising circuit. This can also ensure that the kids are dropped at the school exactly at the right time, getting off from the prom limos with everybody watching them.
Another tip that you can remember is that everybody can gather at one place to start their journey to school. This way they can have snaps taken together, and it can also give time for the parents also for their own little party. This moment can be a little emotional for the parents also who are seeing their kids looking grown up for the first time. And it is also a good way for the kids to give something back to their parents to thank them for all they have done and paid to make the evening special and unforgettable for their children. Another advantage for this is that it avoids many last minute hitches and makes everybody be on time. It also saves the prom limos from running all over the place collecting all the kids, stopping and restarting, which can use up a lot of valuable cruising time and, needless to say, much precious fuel.
Another thing you need to keep in mind is that while hiring the prom limo, it is better to have a detailed conversation with your limo operator. This will help you to find whether he is fully licensed as well as whether you are getting the service and the limo you paid for.
