when a person owns a private jet, how much money is involved in spending to go from one spot to another?
gas..? pilot..? parking..??? just curious to know, how much does a person have to spend on their own private jet to go one single trip?
The aircraft will run about $1500 per hour depending on the type. Pilots generally work by the day, so expect to pay them $4-500 each for the day. Parking is normally free (if you buy gas anyway) but landing fees can add another few hunderd to a few thousand dollars. For a trip from LA to NY, you’re probably looking at somewhere near $10,000 or so. Not counting payments on the aircraft, insurance, maintenance, hangaring, catering, and all the other things that could easily double that number.
