Air Charter Airline Companies
How large is the average startup charter flight company?
I ask since it’s a life goal of mine to start something of an execujet, or air taxi company. So I’m trying to find out how many planes or pilots alot of these companies start with, are we talking one plane and a handful of crew, or more along the lines of five to ten planes with a much more sizeable crew?
For anyone in the industry I’m currently working on a degree in economics, and for a masters I want to turn to a degree focused on transportation, or better yet, airline management, and ideally get my own pilot’s liscense as soon as possible, I think it would be better to keep a company small and even be able to fly some flights myself.
Most startup Charter Companies start with one or maybe two aircraft and the just the support crew to go with. Unless you have an extreme amount of money to start the company with, or have investors.
